Modern Lao Sole Co., Ltd. has designed and built private residences in Vientiane since 2017. Lao-owned. In-house design, engineering, site. Twenty homes delivered.
Modern Lao Homes is a Lao-owned residential design and construction firm in Vientiane Capital. We design, engineer, and build private homes for clients who want the process visible before money moves.
Drawings, engineering, weekly supervision, and milestone payments are in-house. Nothing routes through a subcontracted main contractor.
Most clients are foreign-Lao couples building their first long-term home in Laos. The drawings are honest. The price at handover matches the price at signing.
"A client should see the drawings, the site, the money trail, and the next decision without chasing anyone."
One lane: residential design and construction. No commercial work. No subcontracted main contractor.
Homes typically run one to three storeys, 140 to 400 square metres, across Vientiane Capital. We stay close to each one from first sketch to final handover.
New build, renovation, extension. Foreign-Lao couples, Lao families, resident expatriates. We are deliberately small, and we say no to work we cannot do well.
We have delivered residential homes in Vientiane since 2017 — for Lao families, foreign residents, and diplomatic missions. The same five people have walked every site we have built.
Drawings, structural engineering, MEP coordination, site supervision, payment scheduling, and weekly reports are in-house. Construction runs through our own site teams — not a subcontracted main contractor who leaves between sketch and slab.
The first home we delivered is still standing, still occupied, still under the same warranty discipline we apply to a home we hand over next week.

The hotel. 250 rooms and suites in a 15-storey building, on a central Mekong riverside site at the intersection of Quai Fa Ngum and Khun Bu Lom Roads — a short walk from Chao Anouvong Park and the night market.
MLH’s role. The team was given two scopes. First, to manage the purchasing of the entire interior fit-out — public areas and all 250 rooms — sourcing and supplying against the operator’s specification. Second, to inspect the structural quality of the building given its location next to the river, where seasonal water levels rise and fall.
"We worked with hotel management to source and bring in everything that furnishes the interior — and we inspected the structure to ensure the building is safe and certified to operate next to the river."
