Mick's Renovation was a complete residential refit delivered by Modern Lao Homes in Vientiane. The brief was to take an existing home and bring it up to a modern standard of finish — joinery, surfaces, fixtures, lighting — without losing the bones of what was already there.
The photographic record for this project survives in slide-deck format from the original client handover, rather than as raw build photography. Four slides cover the result. They are kept here as found, in the same order they were presented to the homeowner, because the deck is the record — re-shooting it would be reconstruction, not documentation.
It is a smaller record than some entries in this ledger, but the work behind it was full-scope. We publish what exists, on the principle that an honest archive is the only kind worth keeping.
